Soframe to equip French Army with heavy recovery vehicles

The French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA) has awarded Soframe, a subsidiary of the Lohr Group, a contract to supply heavy recovery vehicles (ELDs) to the French Army. This contract, resulting from a competition launched in spring 2025, was announced by the company on January 22, 2026.

Under the terms of the framework contract (the value of which was not disclosed), Soframe will deliver 20 vehicles in 2027, with an initial batch of five units before the end of the first semester.
